Happy Valentine's Day!

Growing up I always hated Valentine's Day. For some reason it always reminded me of all the pain Ive ever felt caused by a male. Now I love Valentine's Day. Not only do I have an awesome, loving, sweet, handsome husband, but I also have an adorable daughter, both of which I love with all my heart.
Levi and I decided that we wanted to have photography be a part of our lives so we bought a canon 5d mark3 and plan on taking some photography classes. In the mean time we are still going to take tons of photos and try to learn a little bit on our own.
So for Payton's 3 month birthday we did a valentines photo shoot, and it was a ton of fun! Im excited for future monthly photo shoots!
So all of you pro-photographers looking at this : No judging allowed! We are the amateurs of amateurs! :) but you can leave helpful suggestions if you want...

Tell's Wedding

My brother Tell got married on December 14th to a beautiful girl named Haley. They were married and sealed for all eternity in the Bountiful, Utah temple. It was a beautiful winter day with lots of beautiful new memories (and family) made.

Meeting the Family...

Payton has been able to meet almost all of her family, which is an accomplishment since we live so far away! My mom was here for her birth

Then Levi's mom, Lisa was able to visit for Thanksgiving a few weeks after she was born and in the mean time she was able to meet her uncle Logan and aunt Amanda (whom I dont have a picture with, sorry)

Then Levi and I decided that we were going on a trip to AZ for a month so that he could go hunting with his dad and grandparents then we could attend my brother's wedding and stay for Christmas. It was really nice to see everybody and introduce our little princess to everyone.

Precious Moments

Things I love about our little Princess:

• She drools like crazy and makes bubbles out of it
• She gets fussy when she is pooping
• She liked to suck on her fist
• Now she likes to suck on her pointer and middle fingers
• Sometimes while breast feeding she will come off the boob and start sucking on her fingers instead
• Sometimes while breast feeding she will try to suck on both my nipple and her fingers, then gets frustrated when It doesn't work
• Sometimes she will have both hand's pointer and middle fingers in her mouth at the same time
• When she's tired she rubs her face against my chest smearing snot all over me
• When she is starting to wake up she starts grunting and moving her head side to side
• Rubbing her eyebrows makes her fall asleep, and she knows it, and tries to get away from our fingers when we are attempting it
• She smiles A LOT more at Levi than me
• She talks more to me than to Levi
• She likes her vitamin D and Gripe water and doest fight me when I'm administering it
• She doesnt like to be alone in the room and will cry until someone comes back to the room or brings her to where they are
• Driving in the car used to make her fall asleep
• Now driving in the car makes her cry
• She likes to watch cartoons already, like The Tiggr Movie and Tinker Bell
• She screams at me when I am sucking the boogers out of her nose but smiles when Im done
• When taking a shower she will start breathing really hard when the water first hits her body
• When taking a bath she likes to jump like a frog in the weightless water
• While breast feeding she will either hug my boob, or grab my bra strap or my shirt with a death grip
• She has started sucking on her lower lip
• She likes to spread her toes and her little pinkie toe sticks out to the side like her dads when she does
• When you touch her toes she will try to grab your finger with them
• She likes to have her diaper changed and will smile at you
• She is truly adorable

Baby Blessing

Payton was blessed by her Daddy on December 15th in Provo on the same day as her cousin Roman. He wore his daddy's blessing outfit and she wore mine. The dress was actually from my third great grandma, she wore it on the ship when they migrated from Scotland to the Americas in the early 1900s.
