June 15th

For my birthday we decided to go to Detroit lakes and soak up the sun. We got all our gear together and in the jeep and were on our way. I bought Payton baby sunglasses that were on clearance but she HATED them! so now they are another chew toy :) I also bought a reusable swim diaper which was a huge mistake. She pooped in it and since its like a pull up without any side openings, when you pulled it off the poop got all over her legs, it was disgusting! and a waste of money!
We had a lot of fun. Payton liked the water and the sun. There was also a bunch of huge dragon flies which was kinda cool.
I got sun burned on my back and it peeled :( and Payton got sunburned on the top of her head (but not too bad at all, it was just pink) because  i didnt put s
unscreen in her hair :( Payton looked so adorable in her little swim suit! (Compliments of Heidi Potter)
Here are some pictures, enjoy

7 Months

Payton has really grown, thats for sure! She is now sitting up on her own, and has started army crawling. I feed her homemade baby food almost every night, and give her water from a glass. Last night while giving her water I could feel little clinks as she moved her mouth and discovered that her front two bottom teeth have finally broken through her gums. Her molar that came through (and was her first tooth) decided to hide again about three weeks ago and we haven't seen it since. She has discovered her tongue and loves to stick it out in every direction and makes noises with it, it is quite adorable! She has also discovered her hair and likes to pull on it which actually worries me a little bit. I hope that is normal. She is still a very happy baby, smiling and laughing all day. She still gets up 2-3 times a night to eat but goes back to sleep as soon as she is satisfied. Ive been trying to get her to say 'Mama" which she does sometimes but its just her baby babble, nothing real yet. I cant wait to see what eight months brings!

Montana

This winter Levi, Payton, Jade and I took another road trip to Montana. We left Fargo super early in the morning and drove for 17 hours straight! On our way we saw over 300 head of deer! I have never seen that many deer before in my entire life! There were huge herds grazing in pastors everywhere we looked, it was pretty amazing. (they were all white tail deer no muleys)
We stayed at an adorable antique little hotel called, "The Grand Hotel" downtown Kalispell. They were celebrating their 100th year in business this year! We stayed there for four nights and enjoyed every one.

We explored the open parts of Glacier National Park, Libby where Levi and his family used to live for a little while, Eureka a small town by the border of Canada, Whitefish which is right next to Kalispell, among a few other places.
We went hiking at Kootenai Falls and tried to push Payton in her stroller along the path which was hilarious! Our stroller is not made for four wheeling but it worked for part of the way. We tied Jade Man to the front of it and had him help pull it along, it was funny. When we decided to hike to the swing bridge we had to ditch our stroller in the bushes because the terrain was too much for that poor thing! We stuffed Payton in Levi's jacket and put his beanie on her and then hiked the rest of the way. The swing bridge was scary, it was pretty high over a raging river and it swung (Obviously 'SWING bridge') but we made it :). Once we were on the other side Payton started crying so we didnt explore any further. It was a pretty fun adventure!

In Libby Levi found the house his family used to live in and explored where he used to play as a kid with his siblings. We ate at a cute little diner and we saw a few elk, which was pretty cool.

Montana is gorgeous and we loved our trip.
